Churna is a Canadian brand that offers 100% natural, nontoxic products inspired by the science of Ayurveda; to enhance good health & beauty all by living an all-natural lifestyle. Churna means powder in Sanskrit; it’s a mixture of powdered herbs & minerals used in Ayurvedic medicine. This is my first time using Ayurvedic self-care products and I’m beyond impressed with the results! All products are prepared in small batches and are made in Canada. Bhringraj Blend Hair Oil – is a concentrated overnight hair oil treatment, very different than the traditional hair oils that we normally use. Bhringraj oil is said to promote hair growth and prevent grays, it’s blended with sesame oil and various herbs. I only use half a teaspoon to lightly cover and massage my scalp and leave it overnight. For best results, I wash my hair with Churna Shampoo the next morning.
Fresh Amla Hair Oil – also concentrated hair oil like Bhringraj blend hair oil. Amla oil is a great natural conditioner for your hair & scalp. It helps to reduce dandruff, soothe dry, itchy scalp, and softens my hair strands. I use it weekly same way as described above.
Shampoo – comes in a powdered form. It’s a natural blend of 25 special Ayurvedic herbs to leave your hair clean & nourished. You simply add water to make a paste and use it like a regular shampoo. I’ve noticed my hair texture feels more soft, clean & healthy after a couple washes.
Tooth powder – is a mixture of Khadir barkskin, Triphala, Neem barkskin, Licorice, Mint and Clove. Think of it like a teeth scrub. It’s been a great addition to my dental hygiene; I sprinkle a little powder on my toothbrush and enjoy the deep cleaning process.
